Individualization Since individual susceptibility varies (depending upon age, sex, environment, mental, emotional and physical stresses, habits and ways of life, heredity, congenital tendencies and pathological condition), it is necessary to study each patient as an individual.There may be five cases of headache or bronchitis (diagnostically), but each case will call for a different homoeopathic remedy, based on his/her individual group of symptoms, as revealed by the totality of his/her symptoms. It is an axiom of homoeopathy that all aspects of treatment are governed by the principle of individualization - examination of the patient, selection of the remedy, potency and repetition of dose, auxiliary treatment (diet etc.). |
