Vidivelli Homoeo Hospital and Research Center – “For the Love of Healing” Having read the June 2011 issue of The Divine Life magazine again yesterday, which briefly states about this hospital, I was made aware that Dr. K. Chandrasekhar is the founder.I must say that it was in the year 2000, when I was staying at Swami Sivananda Centenary Charitable Hospital in Pattamadai, Tirunelveli District, waiting for my high school results before I move on further into a degree course, that I was told by the hospital administration head to learn Homeopathy from Dr. K. Chandrasekhar, who was working then as a general practitioner (GP) here. It was a brief duration when I was there, i.e. about 3 months. Dr. K. Chandrasekhar gave me three Homeopathy books to read as a start, i.e. Lectures on Homoeopathic Materia Medica by J.T. Kent, Leaders in Homoeopathic Therapeutics by E.B. Nash, and The Science of Homeopathy by George Vithoulkas. These books fascinated me, and with much interest, was eager to treat people who are sick. Before I took the flight back home from Chennai at the end of my 3-month stay, I bought as many Homeopathy books as I could. At that time, the Vidivelli Homoeo Hospital was not set up yet. I had the opportunity to follow Dr. K. Chandrasekhar around and also to his clinic at home, and observe the clinical cases to some extent. With even a short time spent with him, I had seen the doctor produce remarkable results among his patients. Whenever possible, especially during my early days of practice, I have referred four patients to him. Since then I have not been in contact with the doctor.
